The Identity That Lies
There is more to it than meets the eye
Yet it has been engraved so deep.
The heart could never distinguish
What is an illusion or a reality
As it is so subtle, the aware
Being observant and wise;
Knowing that a name is as
Useless as a sticker, a mask;
Makes you wear them happily.
Yet knowing they don't peel off
As easily as banana peels do,
Otherwise they may tear off bare skin
Which may never evoke the ability to occur,
It is the fear and ignorance that labels even society.
